BRTC 3105 - Introduction to Patient Care Laboratory
Prerequisite: Admission to program along with Concurrent enrollment in BRTC 3100, or permission of instructor. Laboratories include fundamental patient care skills needed for entry level biomedical and radiologic science professionals. Included are medical assessment, physical assessment, physical assistance, infection control and aseptic technique, physiologic monitoring, venipuncture, drug administration, patient special needs, psychosocial considerations, and medical emergencies.
