Minor in English Writing

Program Overview

A minor in English focuses on one of the concentrations listed above. It complements any major at Augusta University. After passing English 1101-1102 with a C or better, a student may choose any of four minor tracks which require only four English courses from the 3000 and 4000 series.

Progression & Graduation Requirements 

• Prerequisites to the Minor: ENGL 1101  or ENGL 1101H  and ENGL 1102  or ENGL 1102H  
• Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas A through E may not be counted as coursework in the minor.
• A grade of C or better is required in each course.
