Program Overview
The program enables working individuals to earn a degree through part time online or on campus classes. The program has a low student-to-teacher ratio and strongly emphasizes professional and academic growth, through development of critical thinking and effective communication skills.
The program requires 130 semester hours for completion: 60 hours of academic core, (see core curriculum) 40 semester hours of professional courses (see program curriculum) and 30 semester hours of conferred with proof of the RRT credential. Students may enroll part-time or full-time and start any semester.

Degree Requirements: 70 Hours
Professional Licensure Credit: 40 Hours
After completing the program’s academic and professional requirements, the following courses will be credited by proof of successful completion of the Registered Respiratory Therapist exam, by the National Board for Respiratory Care:
Wellness Graduation Requirement: 4 Hours
Students who transfer to Augusta University with less than 60 credit hours must complete the Wellness Requirement.
