Description
The Genomic Medicine program provides an interdisciplinary and state-of-the-art research environment for genetic, genomic, proteomic and computational technologies to advance medicine. Faculty research interests cross multiple disciplines, including molecular immunology, diabetes, autoimmunity, obesity, computational biology and bioinformatics. The core curriculum provides the foundation to address complex biological problems using integrated high-throughput technologies.

Financial Support
Students accepted as full time students into the program may be eligible for a Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA), which provides a competitive stipend ($25,000 for the 2016-2017 academic year) as well as a reduced tuition fee of only $25 per semester. Graduate Research Assistants also receive, at no cost to them, single-person health insurance under the student group policy. Continuation of an assistantship is contingent on the availability of funds and on satisfactory academic progress. Students are responsible for paying standard required student fees each semester.
