The Legal Studies track is open to Political Science majors only and is designed to aid students in their effort to orient their course of study to a particular purpose or goal. It will prepare students for careers in law-related fields, federal and state governments, public and private interest groups, or business and management. In addition, the track can provide a foundation for the ongoing study of law or for graduate study in Political Science. Grade of C or better is required in POLS 1101 , prerequisites for all upper division classes and in all program specific courses.

Core Area F: 18 Hours
(Grade of C or better is required in all Area F courses)

Elective in Social Sciences
Major Concentration: 30 Hours
(Grade of C or better is required in all of these courses)
Select 12-15 hours from the following courses: 12-15
Select 3 hours from the following courses:
Select 6-12 hours from any other 3000 and higher Political Science courses: 6-12
at least one 3-hour course must be in international relations or comparative government Select 3-6 hours from the following: 3-6
Electives: 28-30 hours of which at least 15 must be at the 3000 or 4000 level
Wellness Graduation Requirement: 4 Hours
