BMSE 1901 - Introduction to Biomedical System Engineering (3 Credit Hours) This course presents an introduction to the systems engineering process and the development lifecycle as a foundation for solving complex problems in the health care setting. The course focuses on the systems engineering lifecycle process that includes design, concurrent engineering, software engineering, and the concepts of reliability, maintainability, and availability. The course also includes a review of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
