SPED 5110 - Characteristics of Students with Mild Disabilities (3 Credit Hours) An introductory course in mild disabilities which covers definitions, historical development of the area of mild disabilities as a field of study, and major contributors; various theories and philosophies affecting the field; and current trends and issues. Thirty hours of field experience is required.
