EDTD 6222 - Current Best Practices in Literacy (3 Credit Hours) In this course theory and practice come together as students implement research-based practices for literacy instruction in schools and communities. These practices will include, but will not be limited to, the following: assessment and remediation, content-area reading, program planning at the classroom and school levels, and advocacy for literacy with all stakeholders.
