SOCI 4431 - Criminology (3 Credit Hours) The study of criminal behavior and its treatment. The development of criminal behavior and societal reaction in contemporary society are addressed in terms of major social theories of crime and its causation. The treatment and rehabilitation of the offender by probation, imprisonment, and parole are addressed in terms of philosophy and policy.
