MUSI 1101 - Elementary Ear-Training and Sight Singing I (2 Credit Hours)
The study of the diatonic harmony of the Common Practice Period through aural analysis and recognition and the development of sight-singing skills. Emphasis on cadences, melodic form, non-harmonic tones and diatonic triads. Corequisite: MUSI 1211 must be taken concurrently or prior to enrollment in MUSI 1101. Offered fall semester.
