MUSI 2350 - The World of Film Music (3 Credit Hours)
Film Music is a distinct art form which synthesizes artistic sound with a visual image. This course will explore Film Music in several aspects including historical, aesthetic, and analytical. Analytic and listening skills will be developed. Various aspects of music will be addressed including Western Classical History, Popular and Rock and Roll Music, and instrumentation and orchestration. (Available for Area C in the Core).
