Program Overview

The Accounting Minor gives students an opportunity to learn basic concepts to build a good accounting foundation.

Progression & Graduation Requirements

A grade of B or better is required in ACCT 2101 - Principles of Accounting I (3 Credit Hours) and ACCT 2102 - Principles of Accounting II (3 Credit Hours) .
A grade of C or better is required in all Upper Division courses.
Per USG policy, courses taken to satisfy Core Areas A through E may not be counted as coursework in the minor.

Lower Division Courses: 6 Hours

ACCT 2101 - Principles of Accounting I (3 Credit Hours) (Grade of B or better required)
ACCT 2102 - Principles of Accounting II (3 Credit Hours) (Grade of B or better required)

Upper Division Courses: 12 Hours

Grade of C or better is required in all Upper Division courses.

ACCT 3311 - Intermediate Accounting I (3 Credit Hours)
