NURS 6761 - Pharmacology of Anesthetic Agents



Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Anesthesia Program. In-depth exploration of the pharmacologic properties, indications, contradictions, and interactions of drugs used in the practices of anesthesia nursing. Topics include, inhalation anesthetics, local anesthetics, narcotics, sedatives, anxiolytics, and neuromuscular blockers.
