GMED 5034 - Pulmonary/Medical Critical Care
Prerequisite: MED 5000, This elective is designed to provide an intensive experience in critical care medicine. Emphasis is placed upon clinical evaluation and management of critically ill patients: mechanical ventilatory support, hemodynamic and ventilatory monitoring and other critical care interventions. Didactic sessions, conferences and teaching rounds provide a broad view of clinical approaches to critically ill patients.
