PATH 5007 - Cancer Cytogenetics

Prerequisites: Phase II, Cytogenetics is an important part of Pathology. It is, now well documented that cytogenetic analysis is an, independent diagnostic and prognostic indicator in, human cancer, particularly leukemia and lymphoma, (and a few solid tumors). This program is designed to, acquaint the student to cancer cytogenetics and its, clinical application in diagnosis and in the management, of the cancer patient
