NDPT 7111 - Gross Anatomy & Embryology
Grade Mode: Normal, Audit Prerequisite: Admission to DPT Program This course begins with foundational concepts in vertebrate embryology and development. Upon that foundation an in-depth regional study of the human body emphasizing musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary systems plus gross surface anatomy features is methodically explored. Students will examine structural interrelationships as a basis for normal function, and will engage in directed laboratory experiences with cadaver dissection, skeletal materials and models plus other proven learning activities such as student presentations of clinical problems illustrating anatomical principles, and student presentations of cadaver pro-sections.
