PEDS 5030 - Introduction to Pediatrics (1 Credit Hour)
Students will have the opportunity to see various aspects of pediatric medicine. Students will take part in interactive lectures, simulations, and clinical shadowing. Topics will include general pediatrics, neonatal pediatric intensive care, developmental milestones, and sub-specialties within pediatrics.
Course Activities: Students will spend three weeks each in shadowing various pediatric specialties, in interactive lectures, and in simulation.
