PSRY 5037 - Special Elective Mind Body Medicine (7 Credit Hours)
Goal: 1.To introduce the medical student to the fundamentals of mind body medicine as practiced in a community hospital based setting. 2. To introduce the medical student to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical illnesses and explore the application of evidence based mind body interventions toward symptom reductions, relapse prevention and improved quality of life. 3. Exposure and clinical experience with a variety of evidence based mind body interventions.
