SPED 4004 - Collaboration and Consultation in Special Education (3 Credit Hours)
This is an in-depth course on techniques for implementing best practices for effective collaboration, consultation, and co-teaching skills. This course will examine the barriers to effective collaboration and possible solutions when working with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, volunteers, and parents. Furthermore, this course will examine co-teaching models and how they can be effectively implemented in the classroom. A field experience with P-12 students is required in the course.
