SPED 5006 - Language Development and Communication Disorders
SPED 6011 Language Development and Communication Disorders (3-0-3)Students will study how language typically develops, theories related to etiology of language disorders, and the effects of language disorders on functioning for children with disabilities. Students will learn approaches for remediating language disabilities and will apply them in authentic settings. 30 hours of field experience is required. Prerequisite(s): admission to graduate program.
