DCLK 5901 - Clerkship
This course will provide first-year dental students the opportunity to serve the oral health needs of the local community and the state. Students will be expected to accrue 20 hours of public service by participation in the Augusta Barnyard Flea Market screening clinic; Health Fairs; Children’s Dental Health Month presentations; dental mission trips; GDA Student Law Day, Boys and Girls Club activities, representing GRU at dental or research meetings, and by service in leadership roles on school or campus committees or organizations such as ASDA, SNDA, ADEA and other approved service organizations.
