SOCI 4443 - Social Movements
Sociological analysis of historical and contemporary social movements nationally and internationally. Special attention is given to the critical analysis of social movement theory and its application to understanding the diversity of social movements. Emphasis is placed on the etiology of social movements, their causes, consequences, and social implications. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 1101 or SOCI 1103/PSYC 1103; SOCI 3002 or 3003; and SOCI 3380.
