Certificate in Analytics
Bachelor of Business Administration
The Bachelor of Business Administration focuses on the general study of business, including the processes of interchanging goods and services (buying, selling and producing), business organization, and accounting as used in profit-making and nonprofit public and private institutions and agencies. This program prepares individuals to apply business principles and techniques in various occupational settings. This program offers students the opportunity to “customize” their degree.
This concentration prepares students for a variety of career opportunities in the business community upon graduation. Some graduates pursue management training programs that prepare graduates for the challenges specific to a particular organization or industry. Other graduates pursue careers in hospitals, governmental agencies, or non-profit organizations, or choose to start an entrepreneurial venture or join a family business. Due to the solid foundation provided by this curriculum, career opportunities are endless.
Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Digital Marketing
The Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Digital Marketing provides a marketing foundation with a focus in digital marketing. This concentration emphasizes the application of digital marketing methods and technologies in the marketing function necessary to operate a business or hold leadership positions in business organizations.
This concentration prepares students for careers in the digital marketing field, particularly in the arena of social media. Graduates may pursue positions such as social media marketing specialist, search engine optimization (SEO) marketing specialist, Internet marketing specialist, digital content specialist, digital marketing coordinator or director, or digital account executive.
Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Services
The Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Services is focused on the design and delivery of advice and financial products to individuals, businesses, and government. Our students learn the language of finance and how to gather and analyze information, solve problems, and make suitable recommendations.
This concentration prepares students for career opportunities in banking, personal financial planning, investments, real estate, and insurance.
Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management
The Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management is designed to help students develop the skills needed to manage the human and fiscal resources of healthcare facilities. Students will develop decision-making skills to plan and coordinate healthcare department activities, communication skills to work with diverse interest and policy groups, and critical-thinking skills to comply with government regulations, adhere to health care standards, and implement strategic policy decisions in a complex and constantly changing environment.
This concentration prepares students for managers in businesses such as hospitals, physician offices, outpatient and long-term care facilities, home care facilities, laboratories and diagnostic facilities, pharmaceuticals, monitoring and diagnostic equipment sales, scientific research and development, information technology, and insurance. The three primary areas of career opportunities include providers (facilities), payers (insurance and government), and suppliers (pharmaceutical, IT, and medical device companies).
Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting
The accounting program provides significant exposure to courses in business, finance, and management, and is designed to give students an understanding of the theory of accounting as it is used in our society. Bachelor level students are given a broad background of accounting classes to provide the basic tools to pursue an accounting career. Should a student want to specialize in specific areas, he or she would need to pursue a Master of Accountancy program that allows specialization in audit, taxation, or systems.
The Knox School of Accountancy program prepares students for careers as professional accountants in private, public, or governmental organizations. In addition to the pursuit of an accounting career, an accounting education provides excellent background for non-business professions such as law, and is helpful for advancement to top level management. Students are highly encouraged to participate in internships and experiential opportunities to increase their marketability upon graduation.
Master of Business Administration
The MBA degree program will provide advanced business education beyond the baccalaureate level and prepare students to assume responsible management and professional positions in private and public organizations. The curriculum has been designed to provide breadth of exposure to business administration disciplines rather than specialization in any single discipline. To accommodate students who have part-time or full-time careers, Hull MBA courses are offered online or in the evening, with face-to-face and hybrid formats.
