	CRJU 6436 - Intimate Partner Violence This course uses a criminological and sociological perspective to understand the criminal justice system’s response to intimate partner abuse and violence. Dental Anatomy
	DANA 5001 - General and Oral Microanatomy This course provides lectures, laboratory sessions and clinical correlations on the cytology and histology of the cells, tissues and organs of the human body. The cells, tissues and organs of the body are studied at the ultra structural and light microscopic levels. The histology of the primary tissues is presented, and then these tissues are used to build the various organs and organ systems of the body. Particular emphasis is placed on the cephalic portion of the gastrointestinal system where the histology of oral and perioral structures are correlated with clinical dental problems. In addition, the processes of tooth development, eruption and exfoliation are covered in detail. 	DHYG 4044 - Assessment of Recognized Dental Specialties Traditionally, registered dental hygienists are employed in general dentistry practice settings. This course is designed to allow the exploration of other unique specialty areas. A specialty is an area of dentistry that has been formally recognized by the American Dental Association as meeting the specified Requirements for Recognition of Dental Specialties.
